How do we all become learners?

This week I was required to watch a various different videos that reflects the following....
"Think about how instruction is happening in schools using technology as tools. What are the things that you believe you will need to know AND do to prepare for your career as as teacher before you graduate that will enable and support your ability to use technology effectively as a component of your classroom instruction and to foster student participation and learning?"
I believe technology is an essential part of learning in a classroom. This not only benefits students but teachers as well. It helps them with assessing each student on their learning capabilities. I will definitely have to brush up on the use of technology before I go into my career as a teacher. In today's society most children are so involved in video games and different things, so why not incorporate these devices into the curriculum for them to become better learners.

iMovie is a way that kindergarten students can make a book trailer. This is amazing to me because it really took me a long time to learn how to do this for this class. The Alabama Virtual Library is a free website that students can go and perform research as young as kindergarten.

We All Become Learners
In this video it talks about how everyone benefits from using various different devices in the classroom. It is not just teachers teaching the students but the teachers learn from students. It is amazing how much children know already.

In this video the use of iPads in the classroom has become more and more popular. The use of technology through iPads engages students to learn more efficiently. The students can take virtual field trips by just sitting in the classroom. I also found it very neat how special needs students found it so useful for shopping.
